Online Study Courses
The Travel Agent Training Center, Inc will offer
online
Travel Institute study courses for those individuals that prefer the self-study
method. These programs will help guide you along for successful
completion of the course. I hear from many agents who order the
Travel Institute
courses to do on their own but find it challenging to find the time to
complete it. Our program will keep you on track for successful completion.
We will provide:

additional handouts, study guides and materials
-
access to our website for course reviews, quizzes and
essay questions

the assistance of a facilitator
You will receive assistance for the same hours as provided
to a traditional classroom study group. For example; the Hawaii
Destination Specialist study group meets for 12 hours (once per week for
6 weeks, 2 hours each session includes 2 hour review session.) You will receive the same amount of
assistance. We will stay in contact via email to assist you with the
completion of the course. If you do not complete the course within 2
months, you can purchase additional time.
You must take the Travel Institute test and pass in order to
become a Destination Specialist. We charge an additional $25.00 to arrange
testing. Testing can be done online or written form. (There is
an additional $10 charge for the paper test so we highly encourage you to
take the online version of the test!) The test
must be facilitated by an industry professional. In the Charlotte,
NC area, we can arrange testing at various locations. Outside of
Charlotte, we will contact someone in your area to facilitate the test for
you.

Destination Specialist. The
course cost for all destination specialist online study courses will be
$129.00 and includes the DS books. Remember the testing fee is an
additional $25.00 plus an additional $10 for a paper test. (The DS books
are $79 and the TATC instruction fee is $50.)

online: Certified Travel Associates
(CTA) program. Let us help you complete this certification
program. When you register for our online study option, you will have
access to
www.TravelAgentTrainingCenter.com website for CTA course review
questions, application activities, projects, review sheets and practice
tests for the eight core courses. We will provide you with learning tools
for the elective courses you choose. The facilitator will work with you
one-on-one to help you learn as much as possible and complete the course
so you can successfully earn your certification. Once you register with
The Travel Institute and receive your books,
you can register with us for the
online study option. The instruction fee for CTA online is
$100.00. You will need to locate a proctor for the exam. The
proctor can be a CTC, CTA, agency manager or owner. We can assist
you with finding a proctor for an additional $30 test proctor fee.
